These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://jrvservices.co and any rental booked from JRV Car Rental Services ("JRV", "we", "us"). Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid Malaysian driver licence (or a recognised international permit), and have at least 12 months of driving experience to rent any vehicle in our fleet. Additional age or experience minima may apply to higher-tier vehicles — these are stated at booking.
Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed only when JRV acknowledges it in writing (WhatsApp, email or signed agreement). Daily rates, deposits, and any delivery fees are stated up-front. Payment terms — including deposit refund timing — are recorded in your rental agreement.
Use of the vehicle
- Drive only within Peninsular Malaysia unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
- Do not sublet, race, off-road, or use the vehicle for any illegal purpose.
- Smoking, vaping and transporting pets are not permitted unless agreed up-front.
- You are responsible for any traffic summons issued during your rental period.
Insurance and accidents
Each vehicle ships with comprehensive insurance through a JPJ-licensed underwriter. You remain liable for the policy excess in an at-fault claim. In any accident: stop, call the police, photograph the scene, and WhatsApp us immediately so we can guide you through the claim.
Cancellation
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before pickup are refunded in full. Inside the 48-hour window, the deposit may be retained as a no-show fee. The most current policy is reflected in your booking confirmation.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, JRV is not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental losses arising from your use of the site or any rental. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes are also communicated through this site's news feed.
